Saint Kevin School services the student population within the Saint Kevin parish boundary.  It provides a Catholic education to students in grades pre-kindergarten through eight.  Its purpose is to provide a quality education rooted in an identifiable Catholic way of life.  Its academic program includes a full curriculum of basics including physical education, technology, library, art, music, and honors math.  A before-school and after-school program, as well as “Lunch Bunch” provides for the care of students with working parents.  A well-developed CYO athletic program is available to all students. Band and string, choir, altar servers, music minister, scouting and Spanish language are some of the extra curricular offerings.

Our Mission: Saint Kevin School, located in Springfield, affirms its commitment to lead each student to bring a Christian value system to his/her spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional development, thus proclaiming the Good News of Jesus.

Administration, faculty and staff give witness to the mission of the school by word and example, and seek partnership with parents to help students discover their own gifts, talents, and to develop these gifts to the fullest.

Phys Ed

The Physical Education Program at St Kevin School encourages students to do their personal best whether in the classroom or on the playing field.

The children in preschool through grade three focus on developing basic skills-running, skipping, jumping, throwing and catching a ball, etc.

The students in grades four through eight continue to work on their basic skills while participating in team sports such as basketball, soccer, floor hockey and speedball.

Upcoming special events in our Physical Education Program include March Madness and Field Day.
